Object Detection is a Computer Vision task which consists of finding the smallest possible rectangles fully containing target objects, as well as identifying the objects' classes. These rectangles are typically referred to as bounding boxes. This task is more complex than image classification, where a single target object is present, as the main subject, in a given image.
